Overview

The 2014 car was another innovative car for UH Racing. For the first time in several years, the team did not use the Yamaha R6 engine, but instead opted to use a KTM SXF 450cc engine. The KTM presented many advantages over the R6, mainly a large reduction in overall weight. The 2014 car also featured much larger front and rear wings to make the most of the dynamic advantages available. At FSUK the car finished 17th overall, with an award for the ‘most efficient petrol engine’. The team was not so successful at FSG, finishing 64th overall.
