UH Racing and Santander Universities renew their partnership for the 2016 season.
To celebrate the deal the team and UH18 went down to the local branch on College Lane campus, in the Hutton Hub to meet the branch’s Manager, Shanaka Davidson, and to pose for some photos. Santander Universities provide funding for scholarships, mobility awards, research grants among other things, to students in higher education all over the world. Last year along they gave out 28,443 scholarships and grants and €146 million of funding to higher education institutions, such as the University of Hertfordshire.
Team Leader, Thomas Minto, commented,
“UH Racing are pleased to have Santander sponsoring us again, as they provide the team with the financial support which will serve us throughout the year.”
Davidson, the Hutton Hub Branch Manager, said:
“We are really proud of sponsoring the UH Racing Formula Student team. I met with the team at the Hutton Hub promotion event and loved the enthusiasm and passion shown by each member of the team.
“The progression of the team over the past few years has been fantastic and 2015 has been a year to remember as the best UK team in the competition. With such a passionate and committed team I have no doubt that 2016 will also be a great year for Hertfordshire.”
The team appreciate the continued support of Santander and look forward to working with them in the coming season, and in the future.
